ABOUT THE CONCERT
The final activity of the week of Operation Cherrybend historically was held at the Murphy Theatre in Wilmington, Ohio from 2015-2019.
In September 2021, we held the first outdoor concert at Cherrybend Pheasant Farm with full production and awesome venue vibes!
HEADLINE ACTS
In September I was asked to be part of an event for Operation Cherrybend! I was overwhelmed by the mission and determination of this organization to honor, recognize, and help veterans! I got to spend time with the Veterans who were at the hunting event that weekend. This is Marine Josh Sams!
Today is Veterans Day and we all think about our veterans today but we should think about them everyday. And we should follow in the footsteps of this organization to help anyway that we can. This mission of Operation Cherrybend brings me to tears:
OUR MISSION
The mission of Operation Cherrybend is to thank veterans for their courage, selflessness and sacrifice to our country. We also hope to educate the general public about the trials and challenges of wounded veterans, and veterans in general. Twenty-two American veterans commit suicide daily, which we hope to bring awareness to and help change.
SINGERS & SONGWRITERS
Songwriters
To add to the special performance, songwriters from Nashville open the show with acoustic guitar performances of their own songs. Some of these songs are chart toppers. It’s a real treat to have the songs performed by their writers live on stage in Wilmington, OH.
Some of the talented songwriters that have regularly participated in Operation Cherrybend are:
Rick Tiger * Sal Gonzalez * Jason Michael Carroll * Buddy Owens * Galen Griffin * Ray Stephenson * Jared Ashley * Mark Ramsey
